Athletic meeting for residents in Sakashita district was held in Sakashita civic ground in October 19, 2003. The weather was ideal for a sports day, a lot of citizen,both young and old,constituting 12 teams, were gathered in the playground to compete for the championship.
Besides athletic games,Urashima's casket game "Tamatebako",the race for a gift package having unknown contents until opening,by guests and the old, folk dance "Sakashita Ondo" and "YES or NO" quiz perticipated by all people were performed.At last whole spectators were extremely excited by the final relay race.It was indeed a pleasant day to be able to forget daily living troubles.
